We first sold this garment in 1992, and it was one of the first "microfleece" garments available in New Zealand. We continually get loyal customers returning for another 501, most have been astonished they have lasted over ten years.
They often say, the Huntech 501 is the best on the market. They have tried others but none of them cut the mustard. There's one reason; we use only the best microfleece available.
We don't try to compete on price, with low price fabric. Hell, most other manufacturers give this style garment away as a free-be, to try and attract buyers to buy another item. In fact our fabric is twice the cost of these inferior garments made in China!
Our microfleece also has a wicking agent engineered into the yarn, making it wick moisture faster and dry more quickly.

Thermofleece 160 Microfleece is similar weight to our ThermaStat® 100, but is more bulky, because it is brushed on both sides. It is great for times you are less active and is warmer than. ThermaStat® 100 in this situation. But like all microfleeces it doesn't keep your skin as dry as ThermaStat® 100 when your are really active. Microfleece is available in green, black and the Habitat™ camouflage patterns.

ThermaStat ®100 is a unique hollow polyester fibre, replicating the hollow hair found on many animals that have adapted to the extreme cold. It is ideal for high energy activity, because it wicks moisture and dries more quickly than any microfleece.
ThermaStat ®100 is also a lot less bulky, and is great under your normal work clothing during the winter. It has the feel cotton interlock and is softer and more comfortable than all other thermal fabrics we have tried.
