Eberlestock A4SS Tactical Weapon Carrier - Our A4SS Tactical Weapon Carrier is an improved version of our variable capacity A3SS Tactical Scabbard. The new version is still designed to be paired with our F4M Terminator and J79 Skycrane II packs, but has several improvements over the previous model. New stiffer sidewalls hold the scabbard open when a pack's load compresses it, so it's easier to insert and extract a weapon. And for the first time, our pack mountable scabbard is designed to work well as a stand-alone product. It still works great as an old-style drag bag, but now can be used as the foundation for a minimalist pack. Add a shoulder harness and a set of our ACST Accessory Straps, and the A4SS becomes a BackScabbard pack, to which you can add an assortment of pockets and build your own modular pack system. New additions also include grasp/carry handles on the middle edges of the scabbard, allowing easy at center-of-gravity carry of a weapon. Our Reversible Waterproof Rain Covers are tailor made to fit our Just One backpacks. The J2RC is big enough to go over a J-type pack that's fully expanded and loaded up, and can even cover a gun in the scabbard. Or, you can leave the gun uncovered in case you're in a place where you think you'll need it quickly. It also works well when the pack is compacted because it has an aggressive elastic edging that pulls it tight around the pack. The blaze side is a great safety feature and is a good way to flag your pack if you remove it for making a stalk. Why offer a rain cover when our pack fabric is waterproof? Think driving rain, when its impossible to keep the innards of a backpack dry without an honest rain cover. If you're going to be out for an extended trip in wet weather, or you'll be bivvying your pack, you'll appreciate having a nice rain cover along.
